Ordre Nouveau (Nowy Porządek) został utworzony w listopadzie 1969 roku, a na jego czele stanął Alain Robert. Symbolem ruchu był Krzyż Celtycki. Ordre Nouveau starał się w swej działalności łączyć aktywizm, kult czynu, zadziorność i rewolucyjną bojowość z kulturalizmem, rozwijaniem aktywności twórczej i intelektualnej, zarówno w sferze polityki, jak kultury i sztuki. Narodził się szczególnego rodzaju „styl” Ordre Nouveau, przypominający nieco styl hiszpańskiej „Falangi” okresu heroicznego — poetycki, rewolucyjny i estetyzujący. Nowy Porządek utworzył własny syndykat studencki — Groupe Union Defense (GUD), który kultywował dawne tradycje Occident, tocząc walki z lewackimi aktywistami na coraz bardziej skomunizowanych uniwersytetach.
Epopeja Ordre Nouveau trwała krótko – w roku 1973 władze zdelegalizowały organizację. Warto jednak pamiętać, iż wcześniej (1972) działacze ON brali udział w tworzeniu Frontu Narodowego. Można powiedzieć, że było to dziecko francuskich NR. Jednym z najważniejszych działaczy obu organizacji był Francois Duprat – patron ideowy portalu Nacjonalista.pl.
Zatrzymajmy się na chwilę przy zagadnieniu estetyki. Często wśród radykalnych nacjonalistów dominuje niechęć do osób w garniturach. Sam fakt jego noszenia ma być oznaką „zdrady”. Przypatrzmy się działaczom Ordre Nouveau i ich stylowi. Ubiór w kwestii poglądów i wierności Idei nie ma żadnego znaczenia.

„Ordre nouveau was a patriotic movement in France, active between 1969 and 1973. It used the Celtic cross as its symbol.
It was created in october-november 1969 by ancient members of the movement Occident, regrouped within Groupe union défense (students of law at the faculty of Assas). Its fist president was the lawyer Jean-François Galvaire. The credo of Ordre nouveau was „The renaissance of patriotism, the promotion of a hierarchy of values, including the restauration of family and education” (« la renaissance du patriotisme, la promotion d’une hiérarchie des valeurs, ainsi que la restauration familiale et éducative »).
Ordre nouveau adopted as its symbol the celtic cross, previously used by Jeune Nation. This movement had succeeded in gathering the mainstream of nationalists, their organizations, magazines and leaders: François Brigneau (from the journal Minute), Alain Robert (Groupe union défense), Camille Galic (of the weekly Rivarol), François Duprat (of the magazine « Défense de l’Occident »), Jean-Gilles Malliarakis (from Action nationaliste), Patrig Saint-Bertais (from the movement Pour une jeune Europe), Philippe Asselin (from the magazine « L’élite Européenne »). Ordre nouveau was also the instigator of the coordination between european nationalist movements (the spanish phalangists of Franco, the german NPD and the Mouvement social italien – MSI).
During its second congres, 10th and 11th of june 1972, Ordre nouveau adopted a strategy which gave birth to Front national (FN) in the perspective of the legislative elections of march 1973. In november 1972, Jean-Marie Le Pen adhered to Front National and became its president.
During a public meeting held under the slogan of « Halte à l’immigration sauvage » (Stop the savage immigration!) in Paris the 21th of june 1973, it came to violent confrontations with leftist extremists belonging to the communist league of Alain Krivine. As a result, both the communist league and the Ordre Nouveau were forbidden by decrete of the government the 28th of june.
Following the dissolution of Ordre Nouveau, the essential of its former activists created the Comités faire front which gave birth to Parti des forces nouvelles in november 1974.”
